During the lessons students will be introduced to the most common types of stage dance. The main role is creativity. Dancing skills will be developed with relaxed teaching, group work, easy to follow choreography, improvisations, and through games involving dance. The lessons are intended for beginners, for both boys and girls, but the lessons also strongly support other dance hobbies.
Through the form of games students will be introduced to the basics of dance, working in groups, pairs, and individually. The students will learn to work with form, space, music, and rhythm. Along with the physical exercise involved, the course includes the development of creativity, which will help students find their own methods to express themselves with their bodies.
Show dance is a versatile dance lesson, in which students will dance to current pop hits as well as jazz, modern, and Broadway music. The lessons will focus on dance, movement, technique, and rhythm.
Balletone creates extended movements from ballet dance, which develop aerobic fitness, balance, rhythm, coordination, and agility, while burning calories. Balletone fuses together ballet, yoga, and stretching technique which dancers have used for years in order to develop firm, strong, and flexible bodies. Balletone challenges beginners and those who exercise regularly, without weights or other types of equipment. Boys and girls have separate classes. Both focus on movement with each class consisting of different themes and music. With mixed classes for boys and girls we use dance themes suitable for both.
